The Orion XT Intelliscope series are the most advanced commercial Dobsonian telescopes made. Their combination of computer aided "push to" operation and the excellence of the Dobsonian design result in a large, quality, powerful telescope at a very modest price. The new 2"/1.25" collimatible Crayford focuser provides super smooth and precise focusing of the included as standard equipment 10mm (120x) and 25mm (48x) Sirius Plossl eyepieces. The XT8IS features an 8" f/6 optical system, with nearly twice the light gathering power of the XT6. Other standard equipment items include a 9x50 right angle correct image finder, a collimation eyepiece and sky charting software.
